Each treatment is personalized to meet the patient's individual needs. During a private treatment, acupuncture will always be the main focus. However, we will incorporate many aspects of Traditional Chinese Medicine to allow the patient to reach their goals.
Acupuncture creates balance and lasting wellbeing by stimulating the body's own healing mechanisms. Acupuncture points are carefully selected to treat the underlying cause of symptoms and disease. Acupuncture can treat a wide range of conditions, including stress and anxiety, digestive issues, pain, sleep disorders chronic allergies, and infertility to name a few. Chinese herbs are very effective in treating internal imbalances of all types and can significantly enhance the effects of an acupuncture treatment. We have an herbal dispensary on site, providing more than 150 different single herbs that are combined in unique combinations to tailor classical herbal formulas to meet each patient's health needs.
cupping / gUA SHA
Cupping has been used for thousands of years in many cultures to relieve muscle tension, symptoms of the common cold, and to boost energy. Cupping creates a suction that allows lactic acid to be released from tight muscles, allowing muscles to relax.
Gua Sha is a similar technique but instead uses a rounded tool to massage muscles and relieve tension. Both of these treatment methods feel great and can significantly relieve back and neck pain.
Moxibustion is a technique that heats a nourishing Chinese herb, "Ai Ye," also known as Mugwort, over specific acupuncture points. Also known as Moxa, it warms the body's internal environment, boosts energy, improves digestion, relieves pain, regulates the menstrual cycle, improves fertility, and much more.
